Solid Hardwood Flooring - Unfinished / Site Finished

… made from hardwood trees, such as oak and maple. It is stained after it has been installed. Solid hardwood flooring can be re-sanded 3-5 times over the lifetime of the floor. Also, the stain colour can be customized every time it is re-sanded to give a new and fresh look. The thickness of the solid plank floor can be 3/8” to 1” thick.

Solid Hardwood Flooring - Prefinished

… made from solid hardwood but it is stained and finished at the manufacturer. It has limited colours and sizes. Tough and durable finishes are available, for example, aluminum or titanium oxide finishes. Prefinished hardwood flooring is easy and ready to install straight from the box.

Engineered Flooring

… composed of the solid wood on the top layer and a layer of plywood on the bottom layer. The number of plywood layers dictates the thickness of the engineered floor. It is very strong and resistant to moisture content in the room and air.

Laminate Flooring

… made to fit everybody’s budget. It gives you appearance of having a real wood floor. It is very durable, easy to install and the colour choices are endless. This type of floor is not made from real wood.
